Hello to members of what seems to be an excellent resource. I am looking forward to browsing through this site. I have had 3 Patrols. First a 1990 GQ 4.5 petrol wagon which was brilliant on gas. 2nd a 1995 GQ wagon 2.8 turbo diesel which was ok but was disappointed because of engine problems.
My current patrol is a 1998 GU wagon 4.5 on Gas which has been a dream but getting up in mileage and has some niggly problems.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I wish I knew about this forum when I was pulling out my starter motor. It took me a while to get it out but no time to put it back in once I worked it out.

Head gasket and turbo so I sold it on
I now have a GU wagon with a 4.5 L on gas.
