The high country closses soon for the winter so last weekend we went to Gargo and across the high plains road.
This road has improved out of site to what it was the last time I travelled it
You can now drive a normad car across.
With all the hype over cattle grazing on the high plains the polies need to get there bukms off the air con seats and go and see the destruction cuased by fires in the high country due to ther gross mis-management of the fuel loads on the forests.
As a kid I walked many trails over summer and saw many fires non of which posed a threat to anyhting.
