Budget only around 11k im afraid. I thought about 03 3l turbo and doing all the Nads or dual fuel but was worried about gas tank hanging down?

If you've only got a small budget then I'd seriously look at the 4.8 petrol. Try find one on petrol only.
But you'll probably get a newer petrol for the $11k but yes it'll use a little more fuel.
But you could get an 03-04 tb45 and get 50 thou k's free fuel in comparison..
