View Full Version : Shell lube guide recommended HX3 20w 40; 12 months later it now recommends HX7 10w40

Guys,

For the last oil change I used the recommended Shell hx3 20w - 50; now the standard recommended is hx7 10w-40 and the premium is 5w-40 ultra. This is as per the online lube guide.
I think my owners manual recommends 20w-50 for the TB42.

Why would this change?

I think youll find that is for the ZD30 motor, i would stick to 20-50 for the tb42
