Diesel for Y62

A friend (owns a diesel 200 series but won't hold that against him as he used to tow a very big van) was at Toyota dealer and discussion got around to V8 diesels.

Dealer "said" they they thought a Cummings 5lt diesel was coming out in the Y62. Don't know if it was just a rumor but you would think Toyota dealers would not be spreading positive rumors about the opposition.

That motor is in the USA Nissan Titan ute

Nissan refuse to put Diesels into the Y62, because Australia is the only Country who wants it, and we have a very very small market share of the world wide pie


and they dont give a Rats arse if you dont like it

All they need do is keep the Saudi and US markets happy will big fast SUV's
