Yes, very sad. I enjoyed his songs and his acting part in "Against the Wind". Went to a few of his concerts over the years. I also met him in the 70's. I was staying in a motel in Wagga and he and his band were in the next room. I said G'day to him one morning as we both were packing our cars at the same time. He seems a genuine sort of young bloke.

He will be missed. Condolences to his family & friends.

Forgot about Turn the Page another ripper song, plus he did a great Judas
in Jesus Christ Super Star. Just heard Molly on the radio saying he never heard Jon
say a bad thing about anyone else, Wow thats a rare trait

Ross hanaford also passed away.... i knew him well in the day and was actually thinking about him only the other day.. sad.
