Have found your forums very helpful over the last couple years since purchasing a 2005 GUiii ST Wagon in 2010, so I thought I would sign up & share my experiences about my Patrol.
Purchased the Patrol from a local dealer. It had one previous owner from a property out near Wee Waa, NSW & had bang on 100,000 Km`s on the clock, a good service record & completely standard ( apart from tinted windows ). Since the purchase the only mod has been a 2 inch OME lift. I have added an ARB Rooftopper, Annex & Awning, Duel Battery system & a 60 Litre Engel Fridge/Freezer. Running Mickey Thompson STZ`s on standard rims at the moment.
Added a Uniden 40 channel UHF & as I`m into Amateur Radio, an ICOM IC-7000 HF/VHF/UHF for shortwave comms.
Have travelled a fair bit around Australia, clocking up another 150,000 km`s in the last 5 years, mainly by myself, but with a few mates on occasion. The Patrol has run faultlessly the entire time I have had it. Only repair has been a new belt tensioner & pulley bearing ( thanks to the articles on the forum for help in doing this ).
Anyway, that's my bit for now, see you down a track somewhere.
