74 years since the bombing of Darwin, my dad was a radio operator in Darwin in the Air force at the time.
He was only 23 yrs old like most of his mates, and he was attached to the 13th Squadron, Beaufort
and Wellington bombers I think.
Its all part of our history now and lets hope our shores are never threatened again.
