How's your remote going

Hows your remote going, I brought a new one years ago for $80 from Mr Nissan
and the guy programmed it for me for free. Then the battery went flat so I brought
a heap off ebay.
Now sometimes it would open the door other times no. I thought it was the batteries.
so just resorted to using the key to shut and open the door.
Thought Id replace the battery again and see how it went and blow me down
works all the time now and has for about 4 weeks now.

You should have just replaced the entire system with the aftermarket one. Mine cost $90 two years ago and still on the first battery. :)

I think Cuppa will confirm that the batteries in our keys for DX models last for ever.

I had he opposite on the GU2, replaced the battery once when it got dropped in the toilet, but couldn't open the door when the key got worn with age, but the door lock had not been worn with it.
