Interesting, I bought one of these Cobra heads and billet lid off Stropp. I finally fitted it on Saturday. Left the air filter in that was 10,000kms old and noticed an improvement in the Revs for sure! Certainly revs between 3000 and 4000 effortlessly now. I like it!

I gave it a full service today including fitting a K&N filter so should be even better again!

I didn't really notice any difference after fitting the K&N.
Are you running the stock HT18?

yeah just stock HT18 and stock intercooler. just been tuned. I run a K&N in the GQ and like it and also in the Bike and like it there too. I had a K&N in a box and it just needed a clean, i took it out and ran a paper filter for a convoy trip in dusty environments and then ran the paper filters for a while. will see how the K&N goes again. I like the sound they make. It the GQ its quite loud.
