G'day NP.com.au,

Any chance anybody knows of a Vic stockist of GU 'Pillar Pods' ready on the shelf for pay/pickup?

My rig is booked in for Monday airbags with Patrol Apart and I've neglected organising gauge positions & switches.

AB's recommended 'Pillar' position for ease of reach whilst outside guiding trays onto the interchangeable racking.

Unfortunately online purchases will take too long for delivery, hoping shops still exist?

Many many thanks !

Surely Patrolapart have them? Try mudski here on the forum, he is in Thomastown and may have something.

Thanks Winnie,

Was just there today scoping out Mondays plans, admittedly I didn't ask but shopfront didn't have em and certainly wasn't suggested as an alternative, but still maybe!

Not too sure how these Tapatalk/FRunner Apps work which AB helped set up. How do I get in touch with Mr Mudski for Thomastown area possibilities?

Cheers mate!

It is that great thing that we all want the bargain of the on line buy, but we need bricks & mortar shops where we can touch, stroke & get it now.

For sure GeeYou8 !

I'm such a clown, stopped into Patrol Apart on the way through this evening. Good old Aaron pulled one straight off the shelf out back (13 in stock) then assisted with all the install details/recommendations in the carpark and further offerings of painting to suit if wanted.

Shops and good old customer service do still exists ?!!

Cheers Winnie & Mudski !

Being a bit time poor and the convenience of eBay I brought the 4x4 concept one. Happy with the pod and yeah heaps of room behind the gauges. Nice fit too.
Not so with the gauges tho. Look brilliant 99% of the time, but when the sun is on them you really have to look to see where they're at. Trying to move them on cheap if anyone is interested.

What's with the top spot? Are they switchers, but hard to make out in the photo.

Are those switches for the air bags? Can you make the car bounce like the wiggas do with their hydraulics?

Does your car drop to the ground when you turn the ignition off like a wog Commodore? hahaha

Cheers TD,

For sure, the Patrol Apart one may be a little big aesthetically for some preferences but as discussed together on another thread 'I'm lost now which one/app/tappa/forumR, but it has honestly suited my rig personally perfectly :-) !

Q&A: Top = manual air actuation / Centre = bag pressure / Bottom = reserve tank for all, bags/lockers etc...

Cheers MB
