Hi Everyone...well, just bought a 2000 model patrol (much to my brothers delight lol), apart from a couple of minor electrical issues we are pleased enough. I am getting the bill from the sparky this arvy so that will determine the level of pleased I guess. Have previously owned the old "shorty 40 cruiser" (loved that car), currently own a 96 Disco with 37 inch tyres and 7 inches of lift between the body and coils (awesome machine to thrash round!) so really looking forward to the patrol and see how it goes. Mods on the Patrol will depend on money pmsfl, but I am sure they will come round...

Currently in Perth but we are Darwin Bound next week if all plans work out. Apparently I have the "Granade" motor which I really didnt need to hear and then read about on the same day? Apparently Premier Fuels are the mob to see in the NT for an over boost reduction so that I can get more than 180,000km from the near new motor it already has (currently 8000km), but not looking forward to the power loss lol. WHO THE HELL BUILDS A DIESEL MOTOR THAT WONT DO 500,000KM???

Joined the site for a knowledge base, a few laugh and meet a couple of peeps online, and something to read from time to time...but having read a couple of threads already I can already see it becoming more hahaha

Cheers,
Darwin Bound
