hidden Winch install

Hi Guys, got around to fitting a Winch to the GU as you can see by pic's it was pretty much easy ,but making it all fit wasn't to hard in all around 4 hours ..

Put a hinge on your number plate and put it back in the middle and no one would know it was there - until you needed it!

Very nice,,,,,,,, I think they used springs on the Hinges
You could drill and fit and eye nut or bolt to store the hook.

Not sure what difference the 2012 is over your model. Will soon see.

Have you used your yet and if so how did everything go.
I assume it makes no difference not having a bar and just the winch?

Hi Rus , No haven't use it as yet , the Bar is there for Non bull bar fitting , So if have a fitted bull bar that has winch candle built in. and just a Note : if you read on the winch Bar web site , right at the end of bar info , there's a line that mentions about not being Airbag compatible. cheers Alex
