Hi there i have just bought a second hand factory Nissan Alloy Bull bar. Its for the wide wheel Wagon. I have factory flares on my wagon so im assuming its the wide wheel model.
I am having difficulty working out where the brackets mount to on the chassis, i have offered up the brackets to the chassis with out pulling off the bumper bars just in case the brackets are wrong, and there are no bolt holes any where near that line up with the brackets.
I am presuming that the holes in the chassis will be threaded to accept the bolts,if so they dont line up.
Does anyone have a link or instructions for removing bumper bar and fitting Bull bar?.
I dont want to remove my bumper to find out the bumper wont fit.

Incidentally the bull bar has a Nissan sticker on it stating part number and srs air bag compliance, also states its for a wide wheel model.

TIA

mate it depends on what it was off
and what yours is

it does need to be the right one for yours

one off a TD42 wont fit onto same year ZD30 - (eg: they are both year 2000 )
they have slightly different chassis

Haven't seen how the GU alloy bars mount up myself but I do know, that there are several different mounting points which can be used.

On the drivers side chassis rail, you might have a hook bolted to the outside of the rail by three bolts, on the passenger side there are 3 holes, some bars just utilize those holes, not sure if yours will.

Some bars utilize the whole that are on the outsides of the chassis rail.

It will fit, with the following caveat.

There is a Bullbar for the Series 1, 2, & 3 ( 1998 - 2003, & early 2004 ) with the more rounded Flares, and the grill which is flat across the bottom with the lights
64379

There is a Bullbar for the Series 4 onwards ( 2004 - till now ) with a larger cutout for the larger grill to fit - last of the rounded flares but with the deeper grill, and all of the newer flatter flares.
64380

The bar for the 2004 onwards model will fit the earlier ones, but with a big gap at the bottom of the grill, but the earlier model bar wont fit the later models without a fair bit of work trimming the aluminium back from the grill and lights.
