I'm from westmeath and just got myself a RD28 patrol year 1999 . Seems be be a nice runner although a little slow but I know I wasn't buying a race horse. Would like to get a bit more grunt from it so any advice would be great

Dose seem to need to be given a bit of welly to get her gone. Also think the waste gate may not be working to we'll damper seems stiff . Can I ask folks if I wanted to do a 2" suspension lift do I need new shocks or just put in those nylon spacers on the existing springs. Someone told me that's all you need for a 2" lift

do it properly, a good set of new springs and shockies
mine are over 6 years old, and towing a Van (2T) I've lost about 10mm in hight

G'day Irish ( Stevo ),
Welcome to the forum and into the Patrol family. Lots of knowledge to be had here. I'll be over your way in April for a friend's wedding and to drink some Guinness with the locals. Looking forward to it.
