Hi. My I am a teacher in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I want to use my Patrol for taking kids into the countryside, but need to feel confident with it before I get too far from the city. So far, my mechanics don't offer the same level of functionality that I need to be confident. I would like to know more about how to work on my Patrol. Someday, I hope to be able to offer help to others, but I'm pretty needy right now. I have a 96 Patrol (with a carburetor) with a long wheel base.

would be a Y60 (GQII in Australia) - 4.2L or 2.8L engines?
