Hi Guys,

I am currently having a small/ large issue with my power windows, currently the drivers side is the only window that is working while the rest are now. For a while I heard a clicking from the cylinder unit next to the glove box. However after trial and error it still is not working... Any help would be great

I had a fault with the front passengers window so pulled my switch apart & cleaned it with Deoxit (you could use WD40) & it came good.

The cylinder unit sounds like an auto reset circuit breaker. If it's clicking in and out that indicates a short in the electric window circuit. How many wires go to this unit?

Does it click in and out all the time or only when your are operation a particular window?

I had a very similar issue a while back, drivers window was intermittent and the other 3 wouldn't open at all from the drivers side switches. Found that the white/blue wire on the windows circuit had a break in it, just as it comes the through the driver side bulkhead into the engine bay. Had to cut back the wire a bit and solder in another piece.
