Sadly David Bowie has past away at age 69.
All of us older will well remember him.
My favourite of his is amongst others "Major Tom"
true pioneer of the music industry

In my younger days he was a ‘teeny bopper idol’ in the UK. Not my thing at the time. A year or three later a friend had a spare ticket for a Bowie concert at Wembley Stadium & persuaded me to go along. This was during the period he was performing wearing a suit with a packet of Gitanes in the front pocket. The concert began with a short Salvador Dali movie to discombobulate the fans. Highlight for me was his performance of Diamond Dogs. this was accompanied by an amazing light show using only white light. At one point a giant walking dog was created out of shadow above the entire audience. I enjoyed the music but the ‘performance’ was fantastic. RIP Starman.
