Replacing Stop Solenoid 1990 gq td4.2

Hi all, can anyone tell me if i can use a different car stop solenoid in a 1990 gq Td4.2.

You can replace the original item. It is mounted in the fuel pump. Best bet for a replacement item will be a diesel injection specialist.

I though they stopped with the fuel cut off solenoid??
