Hi everyone

Ive had a few complications with my 99' 2.8l gu patrol where i will need to spend big dollars to fix engine (postons, valve springs)
I have found a rd2.8ti from a gq. I was just wondering if it would be a straight swap from my current engine to the better one?

I would assume so as that motor was just continued into the first of the GU's. The only differences I see would may be the ECU and engine loom, and maybe the injector pump. But otherwise it will just fit in I reckon.

Cheers mudski. Still tossing up what to do atm. Id rather not spend so much money if possible
