Yes it seems that way but better than a gearbox.

Not sure if this is what you want

Bloodyaussie

4.1 mate....... funny I see them for sale all the time and now I am looking???

mudnut
19th December 2015, 03:30 PM
Bugger. I have a 4.3 centre without a flange, sitting in the shed. The way my GU diff is carrying on I may have to fit it soon, but you could of had it for your trip. Getting it to you is the problem. Maybe as a last resort if you can't find one. Just don't use 4wd while it is in.

Just seen this on ebay, probably not what your after as its 4.3 front and rear but if your thinking of upgrading not a bad deal.

Big thanks to Mark and Eric for getting stuck in on such an extremely hot frickin day and helping me out.

For once it all went like clock work and have had no real issues.

Now i need to make up a vacuum setup to get the locker working.

Told of a unit that costs about $80 that creates vacuum.?

Yeah it actually worked out well with just the three of us i think. One on either side of the diff putting stuff on and the other getting tools or whatever.

I more then paid you for that diff Jonathan.....I raced down and fitted a Hot water service for you, chipped in for a a night at a B&B for your anniversary, gave you a set of ti alloy rims rims, chipped in a couple of hundred for your new motor, gave you a slab which is what you wanted for the diff, gave you a td42 airbox and spotted you money when you needed it. Its unfortunate that your diff blew, but did you really need to play the sympathy card to get the guys on the forum to help you again......

FFS Sean! No sympathy card was played. Myself and Eric are his mates. And this is what mates do. Help each other out. How was Jonathan going to get that diff in by himself anyway? I dont expect anything in return. As i know, a mate doesn't keep count on what we have done for each other.

Like in the movie, if someone does something for you "Pay It Forward" and don't mention it again.

You should probably take that up with the person in question offline then instead of perpetuating the cycle or maybe not over-reacting to a post that I and others took to be in jest in the Alanis Morissette Ironic style.

My statement stands. Keeping count=Lame as fark.

I've got no beef with you Sean, have only met you a few times but you seem like a decent guy.

If you and BA have beef then maybe you should both sit down and talk it out face to face and then move on.
