Hi,

Can anyone provide a description of what the Relay that is labelled A.T.P - PTC - Heater actually operates?

I actually fried the wiring to this relay when trying to fix my reversing light issue. Disconnecting this relay and wires doesn't appear to produce any major problems - the fan on the heater still seems to run so am a little confused what this relay is for.

I found the answer to my own question here:

Sorry for not looking at previous posts first. :1087:

However, I am now suspicious that the relay may not be in the correct location. Given that I am running a LPG rig and do not have any air-conditioner fitted anymore - I'll test the lights and horn tomorrow.

A ptc heater is a type of heating element. Say for a manifold heater or something. Theres no manifold heater on your motor? Maybe you help with the choke? ??

Thanks Guys,

Based your responses I suspect that the Relay may not be mounted in the correct location. Given that I'm running Gas - and the Air conditioner has been removed by the previous owner/s I will check my horn and lights tomorrow.
