I've noticed that my GU Patrol wagon leans a bit to the right, I originally thought it might be the coils have sagged unevenly but now I'm wondering if the coil towers are cracked. How can I tell, and what should I look for?

Grab a torch and have a good look around that top plate, should be very visible IMO
Most will sag to the right as thats where you sit,
coils are different lengths to compensate for this.

A crack in your coil tower mate. Sorry had to be said. Grab a torch and have a gander. If its cracked that much your car has a lean. You will see it.

They usually tear off the chassis. But if the lean is that bad and you have no loud banging noises when driving I'd say it's springs.
I doubt you'd notice a cracked tower bracket by the veichle height unless it's parted ways or is extremely bad..

The welds between the chassis and brackets seem fine, there is plenty of room between the top of the brackets and the floor of the shell, everything seems fine. Maybe it's just the springs?

You probably already know this, but uneven ground can sometimes make you think that something is wrong, as a front wheel down in one corner will cause the opposite rear side to look like it is higher. Always check for spring heights on flat ground - Patrols usually have longer / taller springs on the driver side to compensate for the weight of the driver and second fuel tank too.

Your spring towers would seem to be OK too, if they are sitting parallel with the body floor above ( even gap the whole way across the top of the tower ), so you can definitely discount these as an issue

I'm worried about mine. 29,000km on it, over 3t daily.
Only running 250kg constants in the rear though. I ordered the Boss coil braces, just need to install them.
