80 klm shimmie

I have a 2007 patrol cab chassis with a 3 inch lift and castor correction bushes fitted. I run 31 inch cooper discover s/t max tires. I resently read in a mag that if you remove the top shims from the front hubs, you will stop the 80klm vibrations . Any comments?

How long ago did you have the lift done. Did you have the shimmie before the lift or only after? New tyres? There's lots of variables in what can cause the wobbles. Panhard bushes, tyres, bearings etc etc etc

If removing the shims, you need to remove both top and bottom.

main cause is panhard bushes, check all of the bushes with a large screwdriver to see if you can get movement in them.
