Just changed out the oil in the geabox and noticed I still had a litre of oil in the container. Didn't think much of it until I noticed the oil capacity on the container being 4 litres.
Oh oh me thinks something's amiss so dove under the ute undid the bung and a tricke of oil came out.
Stuck me pinky in there an sure enough full.
Hmm that's strange. Double checked the capacity of the container sure enough 4 litres yelled out to the missus to bring me the calculator. Sure enough 3 from 4 leaves 1. Grab a beer an that's as far as I got.
The ute is an 06 4.2 manual So has the gearbox shrunk?...
