Hi All,

My name is Guy & while not exactly new to 4x4's (I had a L300 4x4 15 years ago) or to Patrols (parents had a GQ from new in 95, up until last year) but the GU is MY first Patrol. My missus works in auto parts & deals with a few 4x4 workshops so when this particular GU was recommended to us, we grabbed it. Also the fact that we have a bit of a brady bunch family and taking two cars everywhere was getting a bit tedious, did have something to do with it.
It's a 2002 3.0 TD and I've found out it needs something called a NADS kit installed (apparently the 3lt can have issues if not taken care of properly) which has lead me to join this forum in an attempt to educate myself on the finer points of owning a 3lt GU.

So please bear with me people, chances are I'll ask a few dumb questions at times, but feel free to have a laugh (even at my expense) and hopefully offer some pearls of wisdom to help me along the way.

Looking forward to chatting to a few of you.

Hello Guy and welcome no dumb questions here, nice rig too.
jump in anytime and ask away, as for your NADS requirements
give Mudski a Pm ,,,most of all enjoy

May I suggest you fit an EGT and Boost gauge first before doing any Mods
then you can see any differences
