Hey, me and the missus bought a 2010 GU7 3.0L CRD ST last week, got it with 85,000kms on the clock. Pretty happy with it.
Its Manual, bought it with ARB winch bar, Dual Batteries, Snorkel, UHF. Previous owner set it up with airbag suspension, twin anderson plugs to tow around Australia, but never got around to it. So we got a good deal.
This is how we bought it.

Now just setting it up to travel up the East Coast.
Just spent the last few days building a shelving unit in the rear and buying and fitting Tigerz11 Full length roof rack, Premiuim Adventure Kings awning 2.5x2.5 and a 50L waeco all from the blokes at 4wd Supacentre, who did us a pretty good deal for the lot.
Nearly finished the shelves just need some more angling to finish off the edges! Took out the rear seats today, put the Waeco in their place (still need to build a base to fit there with some tie down points for the Waeco).
Few more pics from the last few days.

Nice Patrol Juzz. That extra .5m on the awning really makes a difference looking at the photo.
Hey is that a skateboard down the right side?

Yeh a skateboard and a long board in there. Got the flick from work so we heading up the coast on Monday for couple months road trip, thought we'd buy some skateboards to travel with along the beaches. So purposely built a side flap for the boards.

Looks like you had fun on the sand!
Just checking out peoples builds.
How are you finding the awning? I'm trying to decide on 2.0m or 2.5m...

@ besp go the extra .5mtr you'll need all the shade you can get
Plus if you buy an awning tent you can put a full size stretcher in it.
I mounted my TJM 2.5 onto a long frame as I only had a 3/4 roof rack.
Didnt feel right to me with so much over hang

Sorry mate only just saw your post.
I'd defiantly go the 2.5m. Fits perfect from just behind snorkel to back of car. Hardly any overhang. And the more shade you can get the better in my opinion.

Thats fine mine had about 800mm over hang.
Your truck would look trick if you colour coded your roofrack,

Good looking rig you've scored there! That's a tough looking roof rack, what's the load capacity of it do you know?

Moved in to new place and couldn't fit the patrol in the garage with the full rack. So had to swap it out for flat rack.
Got the Kings one new for $239 and awning $95. Sold the old rack with awning for $300. Was Happy with that only $26 out of pocket!
