Can anyone shed some light on this style torque wrench, I used to have a bent arm Warren and Brown
1/2" drive till somebody stole my tool box in Alice, years ago.
Seems this is the main type used these days

I bought one from Aldi a little while ago that is this style, I haven't used it yet though but it was cheap enough.
Obviously it won't be as good the Kinchrome one but will be okay for when I need it.

Bought one of these from Supercrap when they were on special for $70..... does the job........

thinking of getting a smaller one, but will then "HAVE" to get smaller socket sets to suit [emoji6]

Maybe buy a 1/2" to 3/8th adapter,
when I had the chance I brought three socket sets at a great price so all bases covered

A mechanic told me years ago 1/4 drive for motor bikes
3/8th for passenger cars and 1/2 and 3/4 drive for trucks
sounds about right to me

Adaptors.... down right dangerous Clunk! Another socket set is a safety issue mate, you better get onto that!

I have the exact Torque wrench and have had it for nearly 20years. It has done a heap of work and works great today. Bought mainly for wheel nuts but done a couple of heads too. Very happy with it.

Great for the small jobs, it is INCH/POUNDS most jobs are dealing with FOOT/POUNDS?
