Hi all,anyone know what engines will suit a 2000 D22 Navara? Had a QD32 but it is proving hard to find.

The ones in Aus that year model came in 3L zd30 and a 3.3L V6 variety. Not sure about the rest of the world.

Did the D22 come with a V6 I thought it was the D40 with the merc V6.??

Nah the d22 had a 3.3L v6 all the way up until 2006 as an option. Nowhere near as common as the zd30 variety. And then later on they went to 2.5L crd.

The one you're thinking off is the Renault V6 as an option in the later model d40. The stx550 , 550Nm of torque or skmethjnf kle that and was a 3L from memory ?

Thanks for the replies. So are you saying the ZD30 will slot into the D22 2000 model? Is it a straight swap for the QD32?

Yes we have the 2000 model D22 with a zd30 here.
However I'm not familiar with the qd engines, so I don't know how easy it is to put one in. Different engine mount setup?? Different gear box ??

Thanks Hodge. When you say 'here' where are you talking? I'm from AU. I really want to steer away from making any changes such as bell housing or gearbox etc. When I search search ZD30 engine it seems to start in the D22 from 2001? Is that correct? Mine is a 2000 model.
