Hey guys asking a question for my brother, background is he purchased a carby tb42 gq shorty about 1 month ago got it home and it burnout a piston somehow so we swapped the bottom end and then the ignition coil went trying to start it fixed that tried to start it now the carby is stuffed lol one thing after another so we are thinking of taking the tb42 out and installing a rb25det question is will the 4.2 gearbox work with the rb25, im thinking it will but need adapter plates, really i dont know and would really appreciate any help guys cheers.
