Hi all

Just interested to hear what brackets you are using for light bars on the standard Nissan bulbar. Mounting on the top part above bonnet?

Cheers
Paul

Depending where you live it can be Cop bait doing it that way when they have their 'long weekend blitzes'.

On my rev truck I got some right angle steel and bolted that below the 'traditional' bull bar tabs
My bar then bolted quite neatly to the vertical surface of the right angle plate

You dont want to be mounting it on top of the bar its just asking for trouble.
Most will fit under a roof rack if you have one fitted and
@ ET reV truck interesting, swollen thumbs eh, lol

I think you're more likely to get in trouble for having a light on the roof rather than above the bullbar.

It is illegal if they are 'fixed and forward facing' and above 1 point whatever the frig it is metres above the road.

The doc below is for WA but is the same as the ones I have seen from interstate departments as well

They come in different diameters so maybe measure first
then check their shop or type "bullbar brackets" in ebay

I have a divider on my 4' light bar in the middle

Yeah they look the part not like the SS antenna jobs,

Paul at led light co (sponsor) had a solid as hell mount setup that he sells.
And has a huge range to suit all sizes of bar..

Is it possible to under sling the light bar from the top hoop of the bull bar??

Yeah me too...
Think I will cover the 240 watt Bar on the roof rack, arsehole my IPF HID's and and fit 185 watt 9 inch LED's.
HID sucks, the warm up time gives me the irrits

Not sure how I will jump yet. Flicking the switch on the two I have lights the place up like close encounters of the third kind. I would love to keep the big guy, but there really no where to put it. I have some thinking to do.
