Hey all,

Yesterday I checked my engine oil level and i found some metal specs on the dipstick. .

I bought my 2005 ute with 160,000 on it and ive added 100,000 to it..
Ive serviced it every 5-6 thousand, and i got the valve clearances done about 20,000 ago..

Some advice needed. .

Take an oil sample in a clean container and get it analyzed.
results will tell you what the metal particles are exactly.
someone here should be able to steer you in the correct direction,
of sample quantity & with who can test it for you.

Humm I do remember someones sells a home test kit,
may of been on ebay even.
GOOD LUCK with it
