These might work better for some , seeing how pricey the drop slides are.
The shop has slides for larger fridges as well

Also a wire fridge cage if you dont want to
buy one at least you can see how they are made

No photos of it tilted though... I think if spending that much I'd rather chuck in another couple of hundred to get the drop down

I have bought products from Dun & Watson for my caravan and they sell great quality products. I have dealt with them on 4 occasions and they were very professional and helpful. They don't sell crap.

yeah there is a very average Video but no fridge on top. Nice idea. They even provided the CAD plan and elevation views with dimensions.......very simply concept if you see the video.

Yea simply the fridge supplies the weight transfer and the struts smooth the fall either way..
My concern would be roof clearance when going back in. How far the fridge will have to go before the weight is enough to lower it back down...
But it also looks like there is no lock to pin it down.. only in and out..
But with blocko they don't do crap..

why would the roof clearance going back in be any different to coming out?

Because the gas struts will hold x weight. So the fridge has to go x amount past center for over come the struts force.
So say that goes to a 45 degree angle and you have to push the fridge 100mm past center to get it down then a 400 high fridge could be up around 500-600 high..

so just lift it up from the the front to the horizontal position then slide it in

Surely this is how it would work?

seems to be some resistance to cater for the weight.
My short rrrs BFF could use this, I dont as I only use the
Engel for food and its bolted to the back seat floor ,so
already easy to see into. wouldnt mind if there was
a slide that went the other way to most, to bring the Engel closer to the outside
might have to make one ,?? lol
