Hello all, I've just bought some new 100/90 24v H4 globes from repco and only on the way home did I actually ask myself can I actully but this wattage in? So can I? they only draw 4.5 amps on high beam so I can't see them overloading the circuit.

He's got a 92 LWB Safari. I don't know that variant at all well so haven't bothered to reply till now.

For TT...
If you haven't already got relays fitted I would def fit them and also have a very close look at the earths at the headlamp plugs.
If anything is at all suss or the plugs show signs of overheating I would redo the loom on the high current side of the relays and replace the plugs
That is the two major issues in Patrol wiring in the 12 volt variants

Thanks for that. Yeah the Saf's over here are 24v - but so are most of our trucks and buses so 24v parts are no problem. Just a little more expensive.

I'll have a look tomorrow to see if she already has relays but I doubt it, and I'll have to get some maybe from repco or jaycar. 24v 10 amp 4 pin relays should suit aye...
