Hi there everyone.

I am a new member in this great site. New to Nissan Patrol, too.

Two days ago I bought a 2005 wagon, 4door, 4.5 gasoline engine, S, 9passenger, Manual transmission Nissan Patrol Y61. GU

The VIN is (JNbBY11Y25X508XXX)

I have a problem with the meter and the clock.

The clock always RESET with starting. Everytime I start the car, the clock reset and start from 1.00.
The trip A and B do the same thing. They reset whenever I start the car.
The main odometer sometimes start from 60192 and sometime completes.

** Notice that when I start and move the car everything works perfectly, the time, the trap A, the trip B and the odometer calculates the KM.
The Problem is when I turn The car off, and start again, they reset as I didn't drive it.

I've tried some ideas after I searched online.
1. I checked the battery, but It works fine.
2. I replaced the meter fuse from the cabin fuse box, it didn't help.

What should I do???
Any idea?

Check if fuse 24 "ELEC PARTS" is blown.

If it's not blown it's more then likely a problem within the instrument cluster.

Thank you. I will wait

And I am from Saudi Arabia. The car was used for police jobs. I'm gonna put some pictures later.
It needs some paint because there is some lines of police covered by WALLS paint.

Thank you.

thanks.
This is empty. No fuse in it. I thought it is usual because of the black colour.

That will be your problem. Put a fuse in it and see how it goes.

I think he wanted camels....

.. Wild here is full of camels, they belong to people. In Australia the situation is different.

Keep the patrol, forget the camels, they spit and behave like bad women. A patrol is always nice to the owner if you look after it vs camels.

Thanks. The camels aren't mine. Their owners always got Toyota 70.
