61745Hello All!,
This is Popster from Victoria, BC, Canada. I found your site while searching for information about my '89 Nissan Safari Granroad. I've owned it since 2009 and it's been a fantastic "do everything" vehicle for me. I bought it from a business that was importing Japanese domestic market vehicles into Canada. There are no domestic SUV's with a diesel. I was looking for a Landcruiser, but found my Safari on the lot. It was very nicely equipped and had a much better engine. It only had 119,000 km on the dial as well. It now has just under 240,000 km and is need of some TLC.
I hope that by joining this site I can read through the various issues that members have discussed and find answers to my questions without asking too many of the redundant variety ;)
I live in an area where I believe there are only one or two vehicles like mine, so it's rare when compared to the number of Delica/Exceed and Landcruisers.
My Safari has been a great conversation piece, mostly due to the fact this is a left hand drive country. I hope to keep it going for as long as I can, maybe even make some improvements. Anyway, I hope you folks don't mind a foreigner as a member!
