2000 ST GU Manual rear washer

My rear washer has stopped working, I've tried geting my wife to turn it on whiule I listen for a motor going some where but cant hear it, is it like the GQ where the front and rear washers are connected to the bottle under the bonnet?

Yeh ,both front and rear come from the same bottle, if you look down just behind the RH headlight, you should see both motors, give them a tap with a screwdriver handle while someone works the switch, it may just jump back to life.

Will the motors out of a GQ fit if it doesnt come back to life?

no, the GQ ones wont fit the GU.............

also, dont be tempted to remove the motor (like I did) until a new one from Ebay arrived - all sorts of things were happening - rear wiper wouldnt stop, water drained out of washer bottle.......

easier to get front and rear, and replace both at the same time
they have different plugs, so you wont get them confused
