I think you'll get a better response if you use the correct term, it is a "thingamiejig"

Looks like a #2 Phillips Head Screw to me... but what would I know...

(probably the sense line for a Boost Gauge that has been removed if it is where I think it is ... but don't tell Tuppa)

It might be a flighting. I had a machine come into my shop with this sticker, always wondered what it was;

Yep just a reference line for a boost gauge that the previous owner has removed most like prior to selling.

Thanks everyone for your valuable input.....hahaha
Now for another question, when I install the boost and EGT gauges do I need to wire them up to power, as I have no idea how to?

EGT... Yes, but it is reasonably easy.
The thermocouple wires will be pre-terminated and go to their respective terminals sama sama power
If you want dimming the lighting -ve needs to be wired correctly (existing dash light or the dimmer itself) as the Patrol dimmer raises earth

Boost... IMHO get an analog gauge then all you need is to run the sense tube and then the lighting is sama sama the EGT gauge so can tee off that

Maybe...
Depends on how many 2's you have.
If you only have one 2 then your 1/2 right.

Why would someone connect the boost gauge there rather than tee’d into the small hose which goes to the rear of the intercooler? (That’s where mine is ).
