Well this weekend the rents and i went up the Vic High Country around Mt. Bullar to check out Craigs Hut and surrounding areas.
Left from Shepparton, drove up to Mansfield before heading towards Mt. Bullar. Got onto the Mt. Sterling Road and onto the Craigs Hut Circuit Road.
Went and had a look at a few surrounding tracks, all while stopping along at Razorback Hut, Craigs Hut, Bindaree Falls, Mt Sterling, Pinapple Flats Ect..
Had no problems with any vehicles however tracks were extreamly rough and corragated which caused my father to snap the rear muffler off his V8 Landrover Discovery..
We camped overnight along the King river near Pineapple flats, was a Bloody Cold night i might add Hahaha :shivering:
Anyways enjoy the Pics Guys

The long weekend in June is when they close the Roads and they reopen Melbourne Cup Weekend. There is nothing like standing around a Fire on a Cold night drinking cold Beer. I have experienced -6 Degrees when Camping along the King River.

excellent photos. Just shows how big the trees are compared to a 4x4, makes them look like ants!

Nice pics Fletch. I love it up there.. the scenery is awesome. I like the little track going into Craigs hut too. When I was up there last, I met a couple who actually got married at Craigs Hut. The groom drove the bridal party (and some others) up there in a hired 8 wheel off road truck (forget the name.. they are Russian). Now that'd be fun!
edit: Ah, it was like a Unimog
