Mods, please move to appropriate sub-forum, but I thought this would be ok.

Just curious as to the Gold Diggers in the forum?? Any from Western Australia ??

I recently bought a MineLab Xterra Gold package detector, and itching to get out and play around. I use to do a little panning when I was a kid, @ Allans River on the east coast, but I'm now living in Western Australia, and wondering if there are any gems, people would like to share ??

I know, I know, thats like asking if I can enter your bank vault, and take what I want, but we are all friends here :coffeetime: haha

Care to share any stories ??

Ive done a bit of gold panning and sluice boxing around hill end and tuena. Also gave a Garrett ATGold detector but only managed to find old bullets so far.
Its great fun but hard work if you get serious. Haven't found the mother load yet but enough color to keep me interested.

There are a few WA forums Robbo, most prospectors are now returning home for the hotter months.

Thanks Nightjar . . .

The weather is starting to come in nice, and can see why the mob would be returning. I will check the forums out, but just thought there might be a few dedicated Patrol people that are gold hunters :) I have just received some information from my local council about old ruined properties, so I'm going relic hunting soon :)

Cheers
