Hey Guys

As in the title. I cant get my tyres balanced.

they are 35"x12.5 r16 on 16x8 steelies

The shakes start at about 70 and stop once I get past 90ks

I have tried weights and also the beads inside the tyres. has anyone had any experience balancing these or know of a tyre place around Sydney that can do it.

Cheers

Are you sure it's tyres. That size tyre will exaggerate any wear in the front end causing the famous death wobbles

De mount them and rotate on the rim 180 degrees and see how that goes
have you just brought them ????

Have you checked your wheel bearings??

ive had the tyres for a couple of years now.

not the death wobbles, I run 33's during the week and no shakes.

have also just replaced almost everything in the front end. king pin, bearings and bushes.

Ask them to deflate and rotate them,,,, doesnt work all the time but some have had success with it

Have you checked your wheel bearings lately

Are they actually being balanced right? Might not be the tyres, could be a lose wheel bearing or even a hot spot on one of your brake rotors.
