My father turned 80 last Friday and he and my mother have taken a cruise. They are due back soon.

It's just me and an older brother with 8 kids ranging from 20 to the youngest being 9.

We are thinking of taking my parents out for dinner. Somewhere nice.

A couple of thoughts are.

Italian.

Seafood.

All you can eat.

Even though we are Italian, we do eat a large range of food. Even the olds will try something new.

Has anyone been to any of the above mentioned restaurants, how was your experience?

Also open to other places of similar class.

Hi jay see,

I can recommend the Conservatory at Crown, was there with the family on Saturday for lunch. Heaps to choose from, seafood, roasts, curries, cheeses, desserts you name it. Caters for all tastes we've been there about five times now.
Another nice buffet is the Langham.
If you are going for lunch I recommend you book the earliest time possible as it finishes at 2:30 regardless of what time you start. Spend the time to graze and not feel rushed. We prefer dinner as you get more time.

Probably learning more towards dinner, but will have to see what the others are like.

Definitely recommend dinner, more time to sit and relax (and eat and drink)

Thanks apollofish.
The conservatory it is.
Had some trouble trying to get a late sitting, with a group of 12 the earliest was Oct 2. Oh well something to look forward to.

Was meant to do this earlier. Oops.
Went there last Friday night for a 8 p.m. sitting. For the amount of $$$ you pay I think it was well worth it. The old man enjoyed the seafood, I lost count on how many times he "topped up."
Thanks for the suggestion Apollofish.
