I know It's been closed for about 20 years now but I remember as a kid the widdowmaker hill climb at Wannangatta to be up there with an extreme climb back then...

Has anyone here actually gone up it before?

This is the only photo I could find which does not show how steep it is but you can barely walk up...lol

I remember some stories of how it got It's name and the deaths of 4wders trying to get up it and rolling to their death.

I have seen people trying to get up it as a kid but never saw anyone actually make it...

That is extremely well named and I saw 2 guys one day come within an inch of rolling but just managed to get the Nose pointed downhill.
That is bloody steep and your Photo does not do it justice but then they never do

I know, my driveway looks steeper then that pic but trust me, anyone who has been here would know how insane that hill is...

As a kid who could run a marathon, I could barely walkup that...

I remember seeing a hummer and 2 old school fj45's with 350 chevs only get a 1/4 of the way up.

It just gets steeper and steeper with a huge lip at the end.

At one point, if you stand on the hill you can put your hand out and easily touch the hill....Like a wall!
