Engine whining

Hi , can anyone shed light on this problem I have with my patrol, it has 35 thousand Kms on the clock and is one year old. When accelerating from about forty and lightly loaded (on a incline hill) the engine starts to whine,you can see the taco slightly bob and feel this through the car. I have had it to the local Nissan dealer (rocky area) twice but to no avail. Any ideas would be more than welcome.:furious:

Hi mudski, it's a whine, no problems at high or low revs its fifty sixty odd klms or so that it's more noticeable. 3ltr.

Please put up an intro about yourself in the introductions section. It's just a courteous thing we ask for that's all and it gets members on side.

When you say you feel it through your whole car do you mean you feel loss of power when taco and sound plays up or you feel/hear the whine?
