Bought this a few weeks back a 92 TI TB42 that is in very good cond for age, it has done no offroad. I don't have much in the way of pics yet but one pic of when I bought it and another with rack, awning, lights and so far uhf aeriel mounted. It now has GU steel rims painted black with A/T tyres on it but haven't got pic of that yet. I have lots of gear out of previous vehicle to put in just getting time to do it. Will have 3 x batteries, UHF, Sideband AM, Overhead console, Drawer unit with fridge slide and slide out table, cargo barrier, Lightbar, Compressor plumbed to outlet in drawer unit, invertor, Battery monitors, extra 12v points, Fridge temp monitor, rear camp light, shovel axe and highlift jack holder, 2 inch lift, Mmmm all I can think of at the moment. I have all this ready to go in except camp light setup, barrier, drawer unit (have to build to suit) and lift springs.

Sounds like an absolute weapon you got there mate! Not many GQ's left in that condition, great find! Just need to do a conversion to the TD42 engine and you'll be sweet haha

Nice and clean truck mate. I'm tipping it wont stay that way for long. Lol You'll get a few bush pinstripes in it and mud everywhere....

Thinking this will be close to the altimate tourer.
Why the need for 3 batteries??
What size tyres have you decided on ??

Hi mate yeah that's the plan hopefully. I've already have the 3 batteries out of other vehicle. I have a 105 A/H deep cycle for under the bonnet to run all my extras and a 120 A/H deep cycle in the back just for the fridge. Both run off separate solonoids so totally isolated when switched off. I had the TI alloys on it with 275/70 16 A/T's. I just put GU steelies painted black on, unfortunately theyre only 265/70 16's on them but are Silverstone A/T's, the ones that are BFG A/T copy. In time want to go 32 or 33's

Pic of new wheels and Hmmmm needs a lift and undecided whether the alloys or steelies look better. I also picked up an ARB winch bar today so hoping to fit that next couple days. Still have heaps of gear to go on it just getting the time, Slow and steady I suppose lol. Also made a dashpod to house my sideband radio a 3 x 12v sockets. Will get a pic over next couple days
