I cant believe i am the only one who couldn't stand the constant droning..
I love having a muffler in now as i can sit on the freeway without going mad and be able to have a conversation.

You're not the only one mate! Even though I love that sound, My exhaust being fitted has a muffler on it... Being a family car, like yours, on longer travels I doubt I'd be able to handle that drone for long.... Definitely a muffler!

Mine does not drone at all. Different turbos make a world of difference when it comes to exhaust note and volume.

Mine isn't too bad but reckon its a little louder since doing the the quarter chop, even with the plates welded in. Must just be different shape of the metal??. A bit of bitumen deadener might help. . . It was pretty noisy driving without the plates in. . .
