Greetings my fellow Patrol enthusiasts!

Ive been a lurker on the forums ever since i bought a patrol (about a year ago) and the threads have helped me out numerous times with small issues on my truck (98 ST 2.8). Lately i've been delving a little deeper into some mechanical issues and general maintenance and im finding i have more questions than answers, so here i am!

The name is Dan, im from brisbane and i own a 98 GU running a overpowered 2.8 (yes, joke) its pretty much stock apart from a factory alloy bull bar and an aldi winch i got on sale. From what i can tell it has the egr blocked off but thats about it in the mods deparetment, i have a safari snorkel that ill get around to fitting one day, but at the moment im half way through doing the timing belt and dealing with a cracked camshaft issue.

future mods i hope to do include:
2'' HD lift
33 inch A/T's
3'' exhaust
roof cage with a lightbar

basically just a daily driver with some off road potential

any advice would be welcome!
