So i bought this gu in feb last year with a blown 2.8L, with the intension to put the 4.2 into it from the gq i rolled in 2013.

And that is basically it for now. Gotta rebuild my swivel hubs because they are leaking. then it is saving for some scrub bars and rock sliders.

Welcome Jaido. Very nice truck you have there.
Love the gauges and how you've got them positioned. Might be going down that path personally instead of my last Patrols A pillar setup.

Done a bit more to the old bus
Got this bullbar for a bottle of bundy, got it resprayed in Hammertone grey, got some new surrounds and indicators, and wallah, came up alright i rekon. got new bumperettes coming in the mail and going to Service the winch now during the week so that should mint.

Very nice, you would've needed a huge offset to fill those flares.
X 2 on the gauges , with the 2nd glove box did you cut the support bar off?
Looking good, how do you find the 4.2TD ?

yep, have to cut out the support bar. Love the td42. getting approx 16L/100 with the 35s on. Would like to take it to ufi for a dyno and pump tune and what not. but i thought thats just money i can save for the bigger turbo and get it all done then.

Thats some Brake vacuum cannister, 2.8L run that large one and td42s have a smaller one in the corner.

Bit of a update on the old girl.
Winch is all rebuilt and tested up ok :D hopefully fit that up this weekend if i get some spare time. i took a couple of pics of it but not too many. For the grease i went with a waterproof grease

Heading off to karijini in 3 weeks so the patrol is getting a birthday.
finally fitted up some new glow plugs even though winter is over and the patrol doesnt start too bad now.
Re-building the swivel hubs this weekend and changing all filters then engine,F+R diffs, g/box+transfer oils.

unfortunatly i couldnt find any chrome bar in the scrap metal rack to make two new tie rods, coz that woulda looked schmick. but owell theres always next time.

I recently embarked on the adventure off to karijini in patrol with the old boy, and my sister and husband in their cruiser. Great trip. saw some great parts of the north west, and i guess it gave me a little taste of what the Kimberly is like, we ended up coming home along the coast and got to see exmouth and coral bay.

The patrol went pritty well we covered 3,605Kms and i averaged 15.6L/100 with 3" 33's and a RTT.

Damage report - I wasnt getting good voltage at karijini and was worried my alternator had karked it, but by the time i got back home i was back getting 13.8V so maybe i just got alot of red dust in there
