Hard to start

I have a 3lt ex Telstra Ute and it has become hard to start. Like the fuel drains out after stopping. Replaced the fuel check valve, oil change and even put a electronic pump in. Runs perfect after starting.
Any ideas

It could be an air leak in the fuel line.
I have a similar air leak and if the car has been sitting for a few days then I will have to prime the fuel system.

I cannot for the life of me find this air leak.

Id check all fuel hoses at the clamps. If you can turn the pipe thats your air leak right there!

Failing that it could be leaking from the pump itself, theres a small metal plate on the side of the pump with an O ring inside which can cause dramas after a while.
