Hi fellas,
my GQ passenger side door lock has appaently been replaced, and my original key doesnt work it. How hard is it to re-key the tumblers to match my key? I've never done one before, so have no idea.

I've seen a locksmith do this before, there are generally a bunch of little inserts that set the heights according to the high and low points on the key.

An easy job to get the lock out of the car, and easy to swap out the little inserts, but if you don't have the required sized inserts, it would be next to impossible.

X2 for a locksmith.
